こぎん刺しのコースターです。
こぎん刺しは青森県津軽地方で発展した手法で、布地の奇数目の糸を掬って刺していきます。
私どものこぎん刺しコースターは、こぎん刺しの糸渡しの様子がわかるよう、裏地をあえてつけておりません。ほつれ止め加工はしてあります。ですので、コースターとしても、手芸のワンポイントとしても利用するとこができます。

This is a Kogin Sashi coaster, one of our products.
Kogin Sashi is a technique developed in the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, where the threads are scooped out of the fabric in odd numbers and stitched.
Our kogin-sukashi coasters are not lined so that you can see how the kogin-sukashi threads are passed. However, they are treated to prevent fraying. Therefore, they can be used as coasters or as a point of reference for handicrafts.
